1. Narrow and steep driveway

The infinity pool overlooked the fine Douro Valley. Dinners were beautifully presented and tasted very nice, with friendly staff enhancing the experience. Just a heads-up, the driveway can be tricky to navigate, so drive carefully!

I loved the place, its reasonably priced food.

Everything was terrific at this small hotel. The room was stunning and exceptional with very well appointed bathrooms, I felt comfortable there. The setting was incredible here and the staff were very nice people who provided friendly service. Also, it was 5 minutes drive to Lantern Pike Peak.

The units are silent, luxurious with a nice modern bathroom, a bath tub, for example...

Delightful hotel with very pleasant team who provided friendly service. Substantial and delicious breakfasts, with sweet options and scrambled eggs, for instance. Great location nice to walk in the vineyard, easy to get around. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

The infinity pool became our daily retreat. Its backdrop showcased the sweeping vineyards and sunset. Breakfast was a highlight. It included an excellent spread of pastries, fruit, and meats. While the staff were super friendly, some lacked knowledge about local dining options and activities, leading to missed opportunities for wine tastings. The room's lighting felt inadequate. A significant downside was the narrow driveway, made arriving a bit stressful. We left feeling that with a few adjustments, particularly in staff training, this place could shine even brighter.

I got the twin room, it was stunning and clean.

We had a lovely stay, two days and two nights. Our hosts were very kind, a great sens of hospitality and made our stay very comfortable. The food and the wine were just divine ! I would recommend this quinta to anyone who wants to have calm, and a good quality of living. C.Lechenne

Fine Views and Exquisite Dining!

The wine tasting experience was good, and the dinner we had on the terrace was beautifully presented and delicious. Breakfast offered plenty of options, we started our day on a good note. The only drawback was the drive up, which could be a bit challenging at times.

The hotel, the food, the wine, the service, the staff -- Hotel Rural Quinta Do Pego was divine. Set in the incredible Douro River Valley, the experience was totally incredible. I would recommend it highly, in fact I would definitely consider going back.

It was just a perfect match for a swift stopover in Tabuaco with good value for cost. The infinity pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Drive carefully as the roads can be tricky.

From check in thru departure the staff and facility were exceptional. Informative, courteous and ready and eager to meet any request. I would highly recommend this location.

We had an very nice stay, enjoying fine views of the Douro Valley from our spacious twin room. The pool area was fantastic for family fun, and the staff were genuinely friendly. My sister joined us, and we loved having meals at the lovely restaurant.

In my wife's opinion, a wider variety of gluten-free options would benefit families.
